As the nation struggles to decide who will be the next president of the United States, on this the 26th day of November, 2000, I am entering my first Weblog.

Watch the competing parties make their case, what has been most noteworthy from day one has been the desperate attempt by GOPers to STOP the manual recount at all costs. Aware that the Vice President is ahead in both, the popular vote and the electoral college, the Shrub contingent headed by Jim Baker, a master in the art of sophisticated DISinformation, brings back memories of the Iran-Contra Gang that so successfully undermined the U.S. Constitution during the eighties and early nineties.
Why roughly fifty percent of voters would allow these individuals to regain power, is something that totally escapes me.

It must be clear to everyone who has even the slightest interest in the political arena that Bush Jr. would never have been the GOP candidate were it not for his poppy's buddies. I suspect that when everything is said and done, should Gore be declared the winner, the Shrub would be relieved since he clearly does not have what it takes to become the leader of the free world and...I suspect that deep down inside...he knows it.
